Beneath the Surface follows the lives of local fishing communities whose livelihoods are threatened by illegal fishing, habitat destruction, and the rapid decline of marine ecosystems. At the same time, the film explores an ambitious vision: the creation of the Southeast Asia Ocean Gallery, a first-of-its-kind underwater art gallery designed to restore marine life while inspiring global awareness.
